Hundred of Charges Laid over Thanksgiving Weekend

Chatham-Kent Police were kept busy over the Thanksgiving weekend.

As part of the annual Operation Impact safety blitz, a total of 345 tickets were handed out for various offences, including speeding, not wearing a seat belt, and other Highway Traffic Act offences.

One person was charged with impaired driving, two stunt driving charges were laid, and seven suspended drivers were taken off the road.
