Thanks to the generosity of the local community, the Chatham Goodfellows was able to support hundreds of families in need over the holidays.
More than 1,600 families and 1,300 children received food and toys over the holidays as part of the 69th annual Chatham Goodfellows’ No Child Without a Christmas Campaign.
The Goodfellows raised over $228,065 for this year’s campaign through donations from businesses, community groups, and local citizens. This includes $57,680 through the Goodfellows’ annual Porchlight Campaign and another $30,747 through the Street Sales Campaign.
All money raised is used to purchase items for the toy and food hampers.
The No Child Without a Christmas Campaign began in early December with toy packing taking place from December 11-14 at the former Monsignor Uyen Catholic School. Toys were then delivered on December 18, followed by food packing and delivery on December 19.
