
Charges have been laid following a single-vehicle collision on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers responded to the collision in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Orford Road at around 3 a.m. on Sunday.
Police have not reported any injuries.
Following an investigation, a 24-year-old London woman has been charged with dangerous driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. She was also issued a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
The accused will answer the charges in court next month.
