A heads up for Wallaceburg residents about their tap water in the coming weeks.

Starting next Monday and running through Friday, May 12th, officials say the public works department will be flushing hydrants in the area, which could cause low water pressure or discoloured water.

The hydrant flushing will take place 7am to 3pm Monday through Friday, and if water should be discoloured, residents are advised to let the water run for 5-10 minutes until it clears.

If discolouration of the water continues after 24-48 hours of normal use, please notify Chatham-Kent Public Works at 519-360-1998. Questions or concerns can also be emailed to email ck311@chatham-kent.ca.
