It’s been two days since southwestern Ontario was ravaged by a wicked wind storm that knocked out power to thousands of people, and some are still in the dark.
As many as 200 customers across Chatham-Kent are still without power this morning.
Hydro One crews are working to get all the lights back on, but officials say it could be this evening before all power has been restored.
In the meantime, kids will be back in class in a pair of local Catholic elementary schools today.
St Michael’s School in Ridgetown was closed yesterday because of a power outage, while St Vincent School in Chatham was shut down following roof damage suffered in the wind storm.
