A cautionary tale for those thinking of heading out onto our local waterways at this time of year. 
Chatham-Kent Police sprang into action over the weekend after two people fell through the ice on the Thames River.
Police and Fire crews were called out to Riverview Drive, just east of Keil, but found the people in question had already managed to get to shore.
Luckily no one was hurt.
