Identities of Cyclists Killed on Walpole Island Released

Lambton OPP and Walpole Island Police continue to investigate a deadly crash that claimed the lives of two cyclists.

Authorities have now released the identities of the victims – 36-year-old Michelle White and 50-year-old Gretta Williams, both of Walpole Island First Nation, were killed after being struck on River Road the morning of June 22nd.

The driver of the vehicle involved suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

Provincial Police say the case remains under investigation and further updates will be provided as they become available.
