Illegal Moose Hunting Lands Corunna Man With $13,000 Fine

A Corunna man has been found guilty of illegal hunting.

According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, Christopher Brown killed a bull moose without a tag in October, 2019 while hunting in the Ignace area, northwest of Thunder Bay.

Brown then brought the whole moose back to southern Ontario, where it was processed.

Brown has been found guilty of hunting a bull moose without a licence and transporting wildlife that was unlawfully killed and fined $13,000.
