A Blenheim man is in hot water after almost getting into an accident this morning.
An off duty officer was heading down Queens Line just before 6 this morning and saw the suspect vehicle almost roll into the ditch.
Believing the man behind the wheel was under the influence of drugs, the officer brought him to headquarters for tests.
The 27-year-old has now been charged with impaired driving, driving while suspended, and also arrested for two outstanding warrants.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
