Impaired driving charges have been laid against an Alberta man following a single-vehicle crash that shut down part of the 401 in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent OPP say the driver of a westbound vehicle lost control near Bloomfield Road early Monday morning, rolled through the median, and came to rest in the eastbound lanes.
The 48-year-old behind the wheel was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The eastbound lanes were closed for about three hours as a result.
