Charges have been laid following a single-vehicle crash in Dover Township.
Just before 1 o’clock Thursday afternoon, police say vehicle on Jacob Road hit a hydro pole and came to rest in a ditch.
Officers believed the man behind the wheel was under the influence of alcohol and brought him to police headquarters for tests.
The 27-year-old has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit. He was released from custody with conditions and a date in court later this month.
