A London woman is facing charges, accused of getting behind the wheel after having too much to drink.
Chatham-Kent Police initially responded to a Grand Avenue East address for a domestic disturbance Tuesday afternoon. Authorities say a man and woman had been arguing in a parking lot, but the woman left before officers arrived.
About an hour later, authorities found the woman heading east on Longwoods Road and suspecting she was under the influence, arrested her and brought her to police headquarters for tests.
The 56-year-old has now been charged with having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. She’ll have to face the charges in court next month.
