A Windsor woman is facing charges after a near miss in Chatham Township.
Officers responded to a traffic complaint on Longwoods Road just after 9 Thursday night and say the suspect vehicle had been driving erratically and narrowly avoided a collision.
The vehicle was found on the side of the road with its four-way flashers activated, just west of Lindsay Road.
The investigating officer suspected the woman behind the wheel may have been drinking. She was taken to police headquarter for breath tests, and charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
The 53-year-old has also had her license suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for one week.
