The watchful eye of a local resident has led to charges against a suspected drunk driver.
Chatham-Kent Police received a complaint about a vehicle on Queen Street in Chatham just after 8 o’clock Monday night.
The accused was tracked down and stopped. Suspecting the man behind the wheel had been drinking, officers administered a field sobriety test.
The 59-year-old accused was arrested and taken to police headquarters for further testes and charged with having a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit.
