Charges have been laid against a Chatham man following a single-vehicle crash over the weekend.
Emergency crews responded to Queens Line just after 4:30 Sunday morning, where a vehicle had flipped over in a field.
The driver, a 47-year-old man, was tended to by paramedics at the scene, and officers on site suspected the man may have been under the influence of alcohol.
The driver was arrested and taken to police headquarters for tests.
He’s now been charged with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit and impaired operation. He’ll have to face the charges in court later this month.
