Impaired Driving Charges Laid Against Bothwell Man

A Bothwell resident is finding new ways to get around after being arrested over the weekend.

Early Saturday morning, a Lambton OPP officer pulled over a vehicle on Gould Road near Kent Line in Dawn Euphemia, suspecting the driver had been drinking.

The 28-year-old man behind the wheel was arrested and charged with driving while impaired and having an obstructed license plate. The Bothwell man was also issued a 90-day license suspension and had his vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused was released from custody, but will be back in a Sarnia courtroom next month to face the charges.
