Two people are facing impaired driving charges following separate crashes over the weekend.

Emergency crews responded to a single vehicle collision in Chatham shortly before 6 o’clock Saturday morning and say the vehicle crashed into a hydro pole.

A 20-year-old man was arrested and later released with a future court date.

Around 4:30 that afternoon, police responded to another single-vehicle collision, also in Chatham.

In that case, a 20-year-old Merlin man was arrested and charged with having a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit. He’ll face those charges in court June 22nd.
