Some Wallaceburg drivers may breathe a sigh of relief…at least for now…as further repairs to the Lord Selkirk Bridge have been postponed.
The span was shut down this past Tuesday and Wednesday for repairs to the locking mechanism, with more work planned for two days next week.
However, municipal officials now say that work is being put off, although no reason for the postponement has been given.
