Students at both St Clair and Lambton College won’t be going back to the classroom for another week.

Online courses at St Clair were expected to resume this week with students back in the classroom next Monday. That’s now been delayed by a week with in-person courses resuming January 31st.

A statement from the college says the school continues to follow all public health regulations and consults with public health authorities on a regular basis, with existing COVID precautions still firmly in place.

Lambton College was expected to resume in-person classes on January 31s, however officials say they will continue with a hybrid learning model until after the Winter Break, with in-person classes resuming March 7th.

“As we have throughout the pandemic, we are continuing to prioritize the health of our community while also balancing the need to safely provide increased face to face learning opportunities and student experiences for as many students as possible,” says Mary Vaughn, Vice President, Academic at Lambton College.
