Thousands of people hit the St Clair River for yesterday’s annual Float Down.
Although officials say the turnout was down over past years, thunderstorms in the area didn’t scare off many who cruised down the river on inner tubes and paddle boards.
The Coast Guard says a number of Americans had to be redirected when the wind blew them onto the Canadian side, but in all, there were no major incidents.
