Police have responded to an area along the Thames River north of Tilbury as part of an ongoing investigation.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service announced early Wednesday afternoon that there is an increased police presence along the river in the area of Poppe Road and Buchanan Line.
Police officials are not providing further details at this time, however, authorities said there is no threat to public safety.
