If you live out of the municipality but need to visit somebody at the the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance over Christmas, you have a place to stay.
The Comfort Inn in Chatham is offering free rooms to families with hospitalized loved ones.
The service is being offered from December 24 up to and including December 26.
“For over 20 years ‘Room at the Inn’ has assisted our patients and their families who travel from outside of Chatham-Kent during the holiday season,” says CKHA CEO Lori Marshall. “This thoughtful program complements our delivery of Patient and Family Centred Care; we are thankful for the continued generosity of the Chatham Comfort Inn.”
Reservations must be initiated with CKHA’s Admitting department, who will then direct the family member to the Comfort Inn to complete the process.
