Input Sought On Waste Management In CK

Chatham-Kent residents wanting to weigh in on garbage collection and other waste management issues in the municipality can now do so online.

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has opened an online survey for input on the next municipal waste contract.

The municipality said the survey results will inform a service review committee, which will design the next waste contract for 2024.

The survey will cover several topics including, geographical service areas, garbage collection, bulk waste collection, composting, transfer stations, administration and customer service.

The current waste contract was extended by municipal council in April of 2021 for a period of two years, from January 1, 2022 until December 31, 2023.
