A special panel discussion is being held in Chatham tonight, sharing stories from some of Chatham-Kent’s female entrepreneurs. The Womenpreneurs leadership panel will discuss how they and their businesses have not only survived the last two years through the pandemic, but thrived.
The panelists include Angel Bilagot, owner and founder of The Co. a community-based arts and mental health hub; Robyn Perkins, who runs Traylor Parkers Restaurant; and Stephanie Laforet, owner of Esthetics Studio.
Organizers say the event is for students, aspiring entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and business owners, and anyone who is curious about entrepreneurship. The goal for this event is to help motivate, connect and support the local entrepreneurship community.
The evening, being held at The Co on Queen Street in Chatham, begins at 6 o’clock and is free of charge.
The event is part of the Libro Credit Union’s Innovation Outposts series, and is being hosted by WEtech Alliance in partnership with Chatham-Kent Economic Development.
