Charges have been laid following a domestic assault in Dresden.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to an intimate partner violence incident on London Road shortly before noon on Saturday.
According to authorities, a man had threatened a woman before assaulting her. The victim was not injured.
As a result, a 67-year-old Dresden man was arrested and is now charged with assaulting and uttering threats. He was taken to police headquarters and later released with a future court date.
