A Chatham teen is facing charges after a disturbance at her boyfriend’s house.
Police were called to a King Street East property shortly before midnight on Wednesday and say an intoxicated woman refused to leave, despite multiple requests and offers for a ride home. Authorities say the interaction was relatively peaceful with no threats made or physical harm caused.
The 19-year-old accused was arrested and charged with breach of the peace. She was taken to police headquarters and released into the custody of a family member.
