A long day of drinking for a Blenheim man came to an end in the back of a police cruiser
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a disturbance involving two men in a detached garage on Maxwell Drive in Chatham on Tuesday at around 12:30 a.m.
Authorities arrived and found that one of the men had been consuming alcohol throughout the day and had gotten into a verbal dispute with the other man.
The 23-year-old Blenheim man, who was highly intoxicated and unable to care for himself, was arrested and issued a Provincial Offence Notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
The man was also taken to the local hospital for assessment.
