Provincial Police continue to investigate a fiery crash on the 401 near Dutton.

Emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle collision in the eastbound lanes just after 10 o’clock Monday night. Authorities say a passenger vehicle left the road, drove into the centre median, and burst into flames.

The lone occupant of the vehicle managed to escape before the vehicle became engulfed.

The driver was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
