In 2018 Chatham-Kent welcomes the world to the International Plowing Match. This will be a huge opportunity for the Community to shine. One of the things that will be needed is volunteers. Chatham Kent Agricultural Specialist Kim Cooper.
“To have this type of world class event takes a strong team. That means there are openings for all kinds of volunteer opportunities,” says Cooper. “Some of that work is taking place now, but much of it will take place as we draw closer to the 2018 date of the IPM.”
One of the great mementos that people will be taking home from the Plowing Match is a cookbook, Cooper says you can submit your recipes to be included in the cookbook right now.
