More money is flowing in to help support next fall’s International Plowing Match and Rural Expo.
Three cheques were handed over to the IPM committee at a tourism open house in Chatham last night, and co-chair Leon Leclair says it speaks to the growing momentum for the event.
“They see the value of agriculture They see the value that this event will bring to Chatham-Kent it’s about using it as a social media tool to educated our next generation and their going to help make this event better and promote Chatham-Kent to the world, because it will be a world stage.”
Among the Sponsorships, LSI Supply is putting up $25,000, PostMedia is providing $21,000, and Southwest Ag Partners has committed $15,000 to the event.
