Chatham Kent Police reporting break and enters in Chatham, Wallaceburg and Bothwell. 2 businesses in the same strip mall on St Clair St. in Chatham were broken into. A donation box was stolen from one business and cash drawer taken from another.
WDSS in Wallaceburg was broken into. A number of classrooms were entered. The culprits used a crowbar to gain access. The list of items taken is still being compiled
And an unlock garage on Oak street in Bothwell, was easy pickings for thieves. A man was working in his garage and had gone into his house for dinner. When he returned to his garage over $2,000 worth of tools had been lifted from the garage. Yes it can happen that fast.
Police are asking that anyone with information on these break and enters to please come forward or call Crime Stoppers
