It is finally Election Day.

After nearly two months of door knocking, debates, promise making, and baby kissing it is now in your hands.

The polls will be open for 12 hours, from 9:30 – 9:30.

By law you are allowed time off during the work day to cast your ballot.

There are six candidates running in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex: Lianne Rood representing the Conservative Party, Liberal Jesse McCormick, NDP candidate Dylan Mclay, Anthony Li for the Green Party, Bria Atkins with the PPC, and Rob Lalande representing the Veterans Coalition.

In Chatham-Kent-Leamington: Conservative Dave Epp is hoping to replace the now-retired Dave Van Kesteren. Katie Omstead is running for the Liberals, Tony Walsh is carrying the NDP banner once again, Mark Vercoutern is representing the Green Party, John Balagtas for the People’s Party of Canada, and Paul Coulbeck represents the Marijuana Party.
