It’s Tampon Tuesday in Chatham-Kent.
This is the 6th annual collection of women’s feminine hygiene products, which are the most requested but least donated item at women’s centres and outreach organizations.
This event, like last year’s, will be drive-thru style. The United Way of Chatham-Kent will be accepting donations from 9am-3pm at the Chatham-Kent Nonprofit Centre at 425 McNaughton Avenue West in Chatham.
Pads, tampons, and menstrual cups will be accepted, along with other hygiene items, cash, and gift cards.
Last year, over 2000 donations were dropped off for Tampon Tuesday.
