A program teaching financial literacy to students has been given a big boost.
Union Gas is donating $2500 to Junior Achievement Southwestern Ontario.
The funds are earmarked for the JA Company Program, which shows secondary school students what it takes to operate an actual business and how to build relationships.
“We’re making some exciting innovations in the way we run our Company Program this year,” said Jenne Wason, area manager, Junior Achievement South Western Ontario. “Having a long term supporter like Union Gas as a partner makes all the difference as we encourage our students to expand their knowledge more than ever before and take their first steps into entrepreneurship.”
