A two-vehicle collision near Tilbury has claimed a life.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Jeannettes Creek Road and Coutts Line around 6 o’clock Tuesday evening. Authorities say a pickup truck heading westbound on Coutts Line collided with a southbound dump truck.
Chatham-Kent Police say 44-year-old man driving the pickup truck was killed, while the driver of the dump truck suffered minor injuries.
The victim’s identity has not been released at this time.
The Traffic Management Unit has taken over the investigation.
