
Despite a record-high number of new listings, June home sales in Chatham-Kent remained stagnant year-over-year.
According to the Chatham-Kent Association of Realtors, 115 homes changed hands in June 2026, a decrease of just one sale from June 2025.
There were 329 new homes listed for sale last month, a 4.1 per cent increase compared to the same time last year and the highest number of new listings added in the month of June on record. New listings were also 16.6 per cent above the five-year average and 40.5 per cent above the 10-year average for the month of June.
There were 605 homes on the market at the end of last month, an 8.8 per cent increase from June 2025.
The average price of homes sold in June 2026 was $472,448, increasing by 7.9 per cent from June 2025.
