Quite an honour for a program that has supported thousands of young Chatham-Kent residents.

Junior Achievement Worldwide has been nominated for the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize.

In southwestern Ontario, JA prepares thousands of students each year to compete in the global economy through hands-on, experiential learning in work readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.

Last year alone, over 16,000 students took part in Junior Achievement programs in the region.

The CEO of JA Worldwide, Asheed Advani, says “peace is only possible when youth in all countries and regions have economic empowerment.”
