Just Two Active Cases of COVID-19 in CK

Chatham-Kent is inching closer to being COVID-free.

Public Health has no new cases of the virus to report today and one recovery, lowering the active caseload to just two.

There is still one COVID-positive patient being treated at the Health Alliance.

Across Ontario, the province is reporting 256 new cases today and just two deaths linked to the virus.

Chatham-Kent’s vaccination rate continues to rise. 42% of local youth aged 12-17 have received at least one dose of COVID-19. 72% of Chatham-Kent residents 18 and older have received at least one shot and 30% are fully vaccinated.
