A 24-year-old man is in custody thanks to the work of the Chatham-Kent Police K-9 Unit.
Officers used their dog to track down a 24-year-old who fled the scene of a single vehicle crash Thursday evening near Claymore Line.
Police say they found him hiding under a cedar tree.
To make matters worse, they say he’d been drinking while under release with an order not to.
He was re-arrested and held for bail.
