- 4 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- Long thin loaf of bread, Vienna loaf
- Large Spanish onion, sliced thin
Cut loaf of bread lengthwise. Add very thin sliced onions on piece of bread and top with blended mixture of cheese and mayonnaise. Cover with saran wrap and leave in fridge for a few hours. Heat broiler, add pinch of Parmesan on top of prepared bread and cook until brown. Watch closely so it does not burn, slice and serve warm.
