Keeping CK Roads Safe Over the Thanksgiving Weekend

A busy weekend for Chatham-Kent Police, keeping an eye on area roads.

During a RIDE program on Saturday, officers pulled over 166 vehicles with no arrests made.

Sunday, police handed out eight Provincial offence notices for Highway Traffic Act infractions as part of Operation Impact, a province-wide initiative targeting speeding, impaired driving, and distracted driving.

That number ballooned to 51 on Thanksgiving Monday.
