Keeping CK’s Roads Safe over St Patrick’s Day Weekend

It appears most drivers in Chatham-Kent were not relying on the luck of the Irish to get home safely this St Patrick’s Day.

According to Chatham-Kent Police, 577 vehicles were stopped at RIDE checkpoints across the municipality over the weekend.

Five roadside tests were conducted with one 3-day suspension issued and two tickets handed out for Highway Traffic Act offences.
