Chatham-Kent Police are teaming up with a local telecommunications company to help protect seniors in the community.
A special seminar for older adults is being held later this month, in partnership with Cogeco.
Officers will provide online safety tips and an anti-fraud presentation, while representatives from Cogeco will be on hand for one-on-one support to help navigate personal devices.
The fraud and internet safety event runs from 1-3pm on Wednesday, July 30 at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre, no registration required.
