Local families can now secure their child’s spot for a season of adventure, friendship, and growth in the great outdoors.

Registration is now open for summer 2026 at Kenesserie Camp, offering outdoor activities like swimming, hiking, games, good meals, and sing-along campfires at Chatham-Kent’s only overnight summer camp.

The first week of camp starts on July 12.

“Kenesserie Camp has been a place where children discover confidence, resilience, and lasting friendships,” said Executive Director Dan Richards in a news release. “We can’t wait to welcome campers back for another summer filled with making friends, having fun and being outside.”

The camp is also seeking staff for the upcoming summer season. There are four-month positions available for post-secondary students and two-month positions for secondary school students. All camp staff must be 16 years old by July 1, 2026, to be eligible.

Volunteer positions are also available for board members, property volunteers, and special event volunteers.
