Nominations are open for the next round of inductees into the Kent Agricultural Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame Association honours those who have demonstrated unselfish achievement within the realm of agriculture and service to the rural community of Chatham-Kent and/or beyond.
Each year, 3 to 5 deserving individuals are chosen from a list of submitted nominees and are recognized at the annual induction ceremony held in November each year.
The nomination deadline is March 31st, and submissions will then be given consideration by the committee’s spring meeting. However, nominations can be submitted at any time throughout the year for consideration the following year.
To date, 201 of Kent County’s most accomplished individuals in the agricultural community have been recognized, including primary production, extension and research, education, government, business and stewardship.
