It’s four decades and counting for the Kent Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society.
Spokesperson Linda Paterson says their list of research material is extensive and they can help suss out your family history.
“We show you how to do your research,we won’t do it for you but our volunteers will assist you any way they can,” says Paterson. “Showing you where to go and how to go about it. With wills, probate, land record, census records.”
The Kent Branch is located within the Chatham-Kent Public Library on the second floor adjacent to the McKeough Room. Our library is open from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Tuesdays through Saturdays.
