KFA with proceeds from the Food Freedom Day food drive in 2017.

The Kent Federation of Agriculture is looking for some help as Canada’s Agriculture Day approaches.

The event on February 23rd is an opportunity for producers to share their pride and help consumers draw a closer connection to where their food comes from and the people who produce it.

To mark the occasion, the KFA is collecting donations to support the food banks at Outreach for Hunger and the Salvation Army.

Curbside donations will be accepted at the Salvation Army on Orangewood Boulevard in Chatham next Tuesday from 9am until 11am, with COVID safety protocols in place.
