The Kent Federation of Agriculture is looking for some help as Canada’s Agriculture Day approaches.
Each year, the KFA coordinates food donations to support local food banks with the Salvation Army and Outreach for Hunger, assisting local families who are experiencing food shortages or hardships.
Last year, more than $10,000 worth of food and cash was collected to support those in need.
Donations will be accepted from 9am until 11am at the Salvation Army Church on Orangewood Boulevard in Chatham on February 11th, Canada’s Agriculture Day.
