An officer on patrol spotted a suspicious vehicle on McCready Road yesterday morning and say the license plates didn’t match up.
Authorities say the driver refused to pull over, and the officer gave chase. The pursuit was called off when the driver continued into another jurisdiction, but police caught up with the woman a short distance away after she ran into a hydro pole.
A 28-year-old is charged with flight from police along with several highway traffic act offences.
