Charges have been laid after a knife was pulled during an argument in Dresden.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service officers were called to a disturbance at a St. George Street home on Sunday at around 5:30 p.m.
Authorities said a man had brandished a knife during an argument, uttered threats, and advanced toward the victim while armed.
Officers located and arrested a suspect without incident at the home. The 19-year-old Dresden man is now charged with assault with a weapon, uttering death threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and breaching a recognizance. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
